Professional Experience

University of Pennsylvania Center for Rehabilitation              2010 – 2015

Art Therapy/Art Teacher

  • Instruct art classes for patients/residents using art therapy methods and concepts
  • Design and Implement lesson plans for each class that stimulate imagination and exercise cognitive ability
  • Utilize art therapy as a way for residents to increase self awareness, as well as initiate awareness of others
  • Coordinate with the Director of Recreational Therapy at UPHS to facilitate supplies and classes appropriate for the residents

Assistant to Professor Robert Roesch – Adobe Photoshop/Website Building

  • Introduced  Adobe Photoshop CS program to students
  • Hands-on instruction of photo editing and color correction tools to enhance scanned images and to create special effects using the computer. Projects included raster graphic designs for use in print publishing, website design, and multimedia.
  • Assisted students with problem solving techniques for optimal layout and design of their personal webpage/site
  • Kept  lab computers cleaned of unnecessary files/ software to keep class time running smoothly and computers up to date.
